The Day

Ouzoud is the highest waterfall in Morocco at 150 meters high. Ouzoud is around 175 kilometers from the city of Marrakech.

On the day of the trip, we’ll pick you up from your hotel or riad and drive to the Ouzoud Waterfall. There will be a French and an English guide if you need one.

On our way we will pass by fields of olive trees and stunning Moroccan countryside. We’ll also take a short break at the natural bridge of Imi Nifrid to enjoy some traditional mint tea and to take in the views.

There will be lots of opportunities to take photographs and even a visit to a traditional watermill. At lunch time we will have a tasty Berber meal next to the waterfalls, surrounded by lime, pomegranate and oak trees.
After lunch, you can choose to relax by the pools or to take a stroll along the network of trails leading to the pools below the falls. If you are feeling adventurous, you can even go on an exciting walk that explores the underground passages close to the nearby Berber village. If you’re lucky a beautiful rainbow may appear at the bottom of the falls and the resident Barbary apes may make an appearance to drink from the river.

A the end of the day trip, we will make our way back to Marrakech.
